Moong Dal Pakoda is a North Indian snack which is mostly made during festivals in most of the households. It is a kind of fritter which is made with moong dal batter, onions and a lot of spices to compliment the sweetness of the desserts during festivals. Moong Dal Pakoda is a simple crispy Moong dal fritter which is often enjoyed during monsoon in India. This lentil fritter is also known as Moong Dal Moong Dal pakode are most inviting when cooked right.

- First mix all lentils and wash it properly for 3-4time.and soaking in the water for 4-5hours.
- Now after 4-5 hours drain all water from mix lentils.now make a thick consistency paste from all lentils.but make sure paste not be liquid consistency.
- Now add green chilli and ginger-garlic paste,salt,and fresh coriander leaves and mix them well.
- Now heat oil in big frying pan and make medium size pakoda from the mix lentils paste.
- Now serve them with some green chutney and fried green chilli and some onions.
Perfectly cooked Moong Dal Pakora should have crispy exterior and will remain fluffy & soft inside. Drain and grind it with green chilli and ginger to a smooth paste. I like to chill my soaked vada slightly before serving. Best to have it chilled in this summer too!
