- Heat oil add mustard seeds after it cracks then add urad dhal and chanadhal fry till golden brown.
- Add curry leaves, green chillies and onions. Saute till golden brown. Now add the chopped bottlegourd. Mix well and cook.
- Add the dhal, coconut and coriander leaves. Simmer till the water content evaporates.
