- Wash, peel and chop all the vegetables that's onion, garlic, ginger and tomato. Wash the cabbage, remove the stem and set them aside.

- Add the water and let the meat simmer for 10mins or until cooked.
- Once the meat is properly cooked and all the water has evaporated, remove from heat and let it cool.
- In the meantime, place water in a saucepan and it come to a boil. Once it has boiled submerge the cabbage withe cut end at the bottom of the pan and boil the cabbage for 5mins.
- Once the cabbage is boiled remove from the saucepan, place it on a rack or tray and let it cool.
- Once the cabbage and minced meat are cooled, it's time to roll them up. Spray the baking tray with oil and preheat the oven to 160c for 10mins.
- On a clean working surface or chopping board, get a leaf of cabbage and place 2 tbsp of minced meat in the center of the cabbage leaf. Fold and tuck in the sides like you would a burrito then place it on the baking tray. Repeat the process until all the minced meat is done and place in the oven.
- Bake the cabbage rolls for 10-15mins. Remove from the oven and serve them while hot.
