- Make ready 1 finely chopped green pepper, onion, red carrot
- Take 10 grams peas
- Make ready 10 grams finely chopped french beans
- Take 1 tablespoon kasuri fenugreek
- Prepare 1 packet eno fruit salt
- Prepare Half cup water
- Take Salt
- Get Can prepare 20 idlis out of it one can make oats idli too with same method. Just one change half cup semolina and half cup grind oats powder
- Take And for steaming 1 glass water in idli cooker
Steps to make Vegetable Semolina Idli:
- In a big bowl, mix semolina and curd add all above vegetables, ginger chilli paste, water and salt. Mix well and rest it for 20 minutes.
- In a pan, heat 2 spoon of oil, add spilt and dehusked black gram lentils. When it turns reddish brown add curry leaves, cashew, rasins, kasuri fenugreek and asafoetida. Turn off gas add it to semolina curd mix add eno. Add salt if required and mix well. Rest it for 5 minutes.
- Add 1 glass water and pre heat the gas idli cooker. Grease idli stand with oil pour the better and steamed it for 10 minutes.
- Cool down the idlis for while and remove it from stand. Your soft fluffy idlis are ready to serve. Serve it with sambar, green/coconut chutney and pudi masala
