- To make the buttermilk, take the Curd in a bowl and whisk it. Add Salt and enough water to cover the chicken. Add chicken to it and soak for atleast 1 hour to tenderize the chicken.
- Drain off the buttermilk. Take the marination ingredients except flour and mix well with the chicken. Now add corn flour and salt. Mix thoroughly coating the chicken well with the marination.
- Heat oil in a pan. Fry the chicken in medium heat until it is cooked and slightly browned. Remove and drain in tissue towel.
- Take 1 tsp Red Chilli powder and 2 tsp water and make a paste. Set aside.
- Heat 2-3 tsp oil in a pan (Use the same oil used for frying the chicken) Add ginger garlic and saute for a min.
- Add onions and saute till onion turns soft. Add vinegar and soya sauce.
- Add red chilli paste and sugar. Saute just for a min. Add water and cook till the sauce thickens.
- Add the chicken and toss well. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves or spring onion greens and serve.
