  7. chop mushrooms and thinly slice/grate gruyere cheese
  8. combine eggs and creme fraiche
  9. remove pastry case from oven
  10. cover base with lardons and mushrooms
  11. pour over custard mixture
  12. arrange asparagus and tomato halves on top
  13. sprinkle over thyme leaves
  14. sprinkle over gruyere cheese
  15. drip over a little pesto
  16. bake for 35 minutes
