  1. Get 1 cup sifted plain flour
  2. Prepare 3 tsp baking powder
  3. Prepare 1 cup sugar

  7. Prepare 150 ml oil
  8. Take 150 ml milk

  1. Sift the dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, sugar, salt) together and mix lightly. In a separate bowl beat the eggs with the vanilla and oil. Add the milk to the egg mixture and make a well in the centre of the dry ingredients. Pour the egg mixture into the well.
  2. Mix till you have a smooth batter.Grease and line the bottom of a microwaveable dish with baking paper and pour in the batter.
  3. Place the dish on the edge of the glass plate for even baking and microwave for 7/8 mins depending on your watts of microwave. Insert a toothpick in the center of the cake to check if it's done. Leave to cool for 5mins,turnover onto a flat plate and take the baking paper off. Leave to cool and frost as desired. MAKES 1 LAYER
