- In a big glass bowl place flours, baking powder, salt, oregano and mix all together. Then add yoghurt and mix with spatula, start to add it little by little until yoghurt has absorbed the flour so you don't need really all the yoghurt. You will need to get in there with your hands to really bring the dough together.
- Once the dough is formed into a smooth ball, place it on a floured surface. Using a knife divide the dough into 6 (2 oz) balls.
- Working with one ball of dough at a time, roll each one out to an 8 x 8 circle. Try to roll as thin as possible as this will ensure the bread cooks evenly on both sides with a nice bubbles in between.
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Warm the butter and garlic in the microwave for 30 seconds. Using a pastry brush, brush one side of the rolled dough with the garlic butter before placing it (garlic side down) into hot skillet. Allow the bread to toast & bubble up cooking for 2'-3' on each side.
- Once the bread is nice and toasty on both side remove from the heat. Repeat this process until 6 flatbreads are cooked. Store in a basket covered to keep warm. Store at room temp for 3 days and reheat on the pan before use.
- The flatbread can be used to roll around Mexican cuisine of fillings or as a Naan bread for Curried or to wrap any sandwich fillings at lunch time.๐๐๐๐ธโ
