The ingredients needed to make Pumpkin Raita:
  1. Make ready 200 gms pumpkin
  2. Get 100 gms curd
  3. Take As per taste Salt
  4. Prepare 2 tbsp Oil/ ghee for tadka
  5. Prepare 1 tsp cumin seeds
  6. Make ready 1 pinch asafoetida
  7. Get 3 green chilies
  8. Prepare 4-5 curry leaves
  9. Get 2 tsp Coriander leaves
Instructions to make Pumpkin Raita:
  1. Peel and chop the pumpkin into pieces.in small pot,add pumpkin pieces and 4-5 tbsp water. Cook with lid for 5 minutes,put water on lid.
  2. Pumpkin pieces will become soft, mash them with masher. Add curd and salt and mix well.
  3. Add oil/ghee in tadka pan. Add cumin seeds, asafoetida, green chilies and curry leaves. Pour the tadka onto the raita. Add chopped coriander and serve with chapati.
