  8. Place braids on cookie pan lined with parchment paper.
  9. Cover with a damp cloth.
  10. Set oven to 350 and let braids rise for 1 hour.
  11. Beat egg in small bowl.
  12. Uncover braids and brush egg on Chalahs.
  13. Place in oven for 40 minutes.
  14. Take sharp knife and poke center. You want the knife to come up dry. If not dry put back in oven for 5 minutes.
  15. Let Chalahs cool.
